Abstract:
Case Study The Goodrich company in Krosno, Poland has received good service from a 36-yearold machine built by Wheelabrator Corporation of Canada. The machine has a large two-wheel blasting cabinet equipped with a 96-inch rotative table and a vertical lance unit for shot peening pipe interiors. The machine was due for a routine renovation and Goodrich decided it was a good time to also update the machine’s control and shot flow system. The aim was to improve the efficiency of the machine, reduce production costs, increase its reliability and improve ease-of-use for the operators. Goodrich expected the renovation to simplify the calibration and measurement procedures and reduce the time required to change production parts. Goodrich chose EL-Automatyka in Rzeszow, Poland for the modernization project
