Hello!!!

I´m a beginner in air blastcleaning process.

I want to know how to enhance the process to avoid the problems generated for a unbalanced work mix:low quality and low production rates.
I know that a unbalanced work mix generates several problems but I don´t know what to do.

We have U.S.standard sieves to evaluate the size of grain (particles)but we don´t know what to do with the percentages obtained on that sieves. When can I replace the fine abrasive? In which percentage?
We have a mix of shot (S390) and Grit (G18)and we want to have a roughness profile between 1.5 and 2 mils.
Is there any procedure or standard where I can find the steps to follow to enhance that process?
what other controls are necessaries in the air blastcleaning process?.
Could anybody help us with this?

Thank you.

ATTE,juan
