Ruemlin Mfg has provided a line of abrasive blast guns ("B" guns) for many years. Unfortunately, Ruemlin is leaving this business. Does anyone have any information on a provider of parts for Ruemlin B guns?

If parts are no longer available from Ruemlin and the same style of suction blast gun is to be used, I suggest the Empire Abrasive Equipment Company model MH-1 Suction Blast Gun (see attachment).

The Empire design, similar to the Ruemlin, uses 1/2" or 3/8" bore by 1 1/4" threaded nozzles, 5/8" ID, 1 1/16" OD media hose, and 1/2" blast air supply hose connection. The Empire air jet OD is larger (0.74") and can not be used in the Ruemlin gun. The MH-1 can be fixtured by using extension arms, knuckles, and part number 509211 (nozzle holder) to mount the gun by holding the blast nozzle.

Please contact Empire Customer Service (215-752-8800) for an Empire distributor in your area.

E-mail me and request a digital picture of the MH-1 suction gun and I will e-mail one to you.
