I'm attempting to do a rough model of shot peening for environmental reasons but need to get some answers based on experience I'm lacking. I need to know roughly (a range is equally good)what the usage rate of media is based on surface area of peened material (ie. kg/m²).

The material to be peened is titanium 6/4 and the shot peening media is either glass, steel or ceramic. Regarding size, we're talking about things the size of an A5 sheet of paper.

I'm aware that you lot are going to tell me that you couldn't possibly tell me any values because they won't be accurate, but if I can't find anything then I will have to make up some numbers! Anything at all that you lot could tell me would be immensely helpful.
