Where might I find general guidelines related to the prevention of rolled edges and/or foldover from shotpeening? I am guessing there might be a lot of variables such as intensity and peen direction/angle, but are there any decent edge geometry guidelines, such as a minimum edge radius or break edge geometry, that might be considered best practices?
Thanks for your help!

I understand that Boeing has some good guidelines. If you have a contact at Boeing you might learn from them.

The edge radius must be several times the shot radius in order to prevent this problem. There is a graph available on the Shotpeener web site that indicates that a four-to-one ratio does not affect coverage. This could be taken as a general guide to good practice.
