Scope: 1.1 These practices cover two procedures for selecting representative samples of metal powders for subsequent testing: 1.1.1 Practice A - For powders in the process of being packaged from blenders or storage tqanks. 1.1.2 Practice B - For powders already packaged in containers. 1.2 This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
