Abstract:
A casing has a processing chamber and a drying chamber defined therein by a partition mechanism. The processing chamber houses an impelling mechanism for impelling a mixed stream of glass beads and water toward a gear. First and second drying mechanisms are successively brought into the drying chamber by the partition mechanism. While the gear is being processed, i.e., peened, by the impelling mechanism in the processing chamber, a perviously processed gear is dried in the drying chamber. Gears can quickly and efficiently be peened, washed, and dried successively in the casing.
