Is there an SAE specification that details in depth how to perform correlation and peening of small holes with L/D<1? There seems to be many different opinions and ways of performing this but I cannot find a defined process.
Thanks

Is there any reason not to correlate directly from a standard strip to a hole test? I have also read about an R2 value but not sure what this is.
It would be good to get a standardized process across the industry but thanks for the info Jack.
