What does the letter "R" stand for in the designation? Example S230R.

The letter after the number designates the hardness range.
According to literature from Ervin Amasteel:
S hardness 41-51 HRc
M hardness 47-56 HRc
L hardness 54-61 HRc
H hardness 60 HRc minimum
I am not familiar with the "R" designation.

Hi Jack
The meaning S230(R)means that it should be regular shot hardness 45-52 HRC,all the way through my shot peening career I have used this term.
