Hi,

We have a necessity to speed up our production process due to increased demand.

What advice can be given as to where to start.

Generally we are peening long round parts with a hole through them. Using a wheel for external and lance for internal.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

1. For wheel blast increase media flow rate (same RPM)
2. For Air blast increase media flow rate (may have to increase air pressure to maintain intensity
3. For Air blast use larger size lance and higher media flow rate
4. Buy additional new equipment and double your productivity..

Many thanks, wish we could go for number 4 that would be the best solution.

If possible, use a smaller diameter peening media.

And if you use smaller diameter peening media be sure to adjust the wheel speed (RPM) or the nozzle air pressure (PSI) to get you back to the correct intensity.
