Hello,

I need to protect the marking of a small part from shot-peening. The area to be protected is very small and it is important not to mask a larger area for stress concerns.

It is not easy for this application to use a permanent mask. I was wondering if there are some tapes or maybe silicon rubber that could stand shot-peen over 6A intensity. The surface to be protected is 0.090" x 0.090".

Parameters: AMS 2432, AWC 12, 6A

Any idea?

Thanks,

Try these two web sites. The first is a tape product the second is a special adhesive.
