We're occasionally asked if we're able to provide the WPC process. The answer has always been 'no' but I'd like to learn more about it.
Does anybody have any experience of the process?
I understand the process to involve 'high velocity' peening using a mix of steel shot smaller than the ASH range, but I don't understand exactly how the process is defined/controlled.
Is the process licenced? Does it require any special equipment (beyond the media), or is it possible with a conventional pressure blast cabinet machine?
I'd be keen to hear if anybody has any first hand experience of the process, and if anybody could point me in the right direction to find out more.
