Hi
I'd like your input on a problem I'm having with a glass bead peening application. I have to shot peen threads in a 9.750 dia bore. The spec calls for 0.009/0.018N intensity, 200% coverage min and I have to use AGB-10 (Mil-11) glass bead because to thread root radius (which is 0.010"). I'm using a rotary lance with a T245-6 Boride nozzle, which has a single 3/8" outlet. currently with 100 PSI I can't go higher than 0.008N. Optimisation was performed to find the media flow that woudl give me the highest arc heigth (because it's regulated through a manual valve) and then saturation curves were generated for a few pressure steps at that media flow.

Any ideas?
