You may want to look at the Hollo-Blast nozzle HBB-1 Stock #21190. We have been able to get a higher peening Intensity with the Hollo-Hlast as compared to a side angle, when using steel shot. Or in many cases ceramic can be used in place of glass beads. Glass Beads=about 90 lb per cu ft, Ceramic=about 150 lb per cu ft and increases the intensity. I would suggest starting with B-120 Ceramic .003 to .005 inches 120 to 200 mesh.
