The purpose of this paper is to present an overview of the use of the dry paint stripping process in the aircraft industry. It spotlights the major influencing factors of three current users in different areas of the industry, specifically, military, commercial airlines and general aviation. It focuses on the cost savings, health, safety and environmental benefits of the process realized by each owner.
