Charlie Barrett received the third annual award as Shot Peener of the Year during ceremonies at the 1994 Shot Peening Workshop held in San Antonio, Texas. Charlie said he was quite surprised at the announcement, but for many of his colleagues in the audience, it wasn't a surprise.
