The Processing of Aircraft Chassis The landing gear is the only aircraft system without built-in redundancy which means that 100% reliability of operation must be ensured for the pilot, crew and passengers. All the loads absorbed by the chassis during its life cycle should be taken into account, comprising tens of thousands of take-offs and landings, plus high mileage on the track.
