Peening Technologies of Connecticut’s Vice President, Walter A. Beach, has been named Chairperson of the SAE Surface Enhancement Committee and the Aerospace Surface Enhancement Committee. He succeeds Jack Champaigne of Electronics, Inc., in both roles. This committee has long played a vital part in advancing the science and practice of surface enhancement through technical collaboration and innovation. “I am honored to work with this group of talented professionals who have come together to pursue one goal – the continual improvement of the shot peening process,” said Beach.
